Pomegranate Stew for Yalda Night (with Lamb)

مواد لازم:

  • 300g lamb meat
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Mahram pomegranate paste
  • 2 onions
  • 3 pomegranates
  • ½ cup brewed saffron
  • Oil, as needed
  • Salt, pepper, turmeric, to taste

طرز تهیه :

Marinate the lamb meat overnight with onion and lemon juice to enhance the flavor. Finely chop the garlic and onions, then sauté them in a pot with some oil. Add the pre-chopped lamb meat to the sautéed garlic and onions and lightly fry them together. Add salt, pepper, turmeric, brewed saffron, and pomegranate paste to the mixture.

Once all the ingredients are well mixed and sautéed, pour in 2 cups of water and let it cook until the meat is fully tender. Ten minutes before the stew is done, add the pomegranate seeds to the dish. Enjoy your delicious pomegranate stew!
