Baked grape leaves

Ingredients:

¼ cup yellow split peas or lentils

1 ½ cups short grain rice, washed and drained

1 pound ground beef

4 tablespoons mahram tomato paste

½ cup chopped fresh scallions

1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint

1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon

1 cup beef broth

1 chopped onion

½ cup thinly chopped parsley

500 g grape leaves

½ cup Mahram olive oil

¼ cup Mahram lemon juice

Salt-to-taste

Black pepper-to-taste

Mahram ranch sauce

How to prepare:

According to dolmeh felfel recipe make the ingredient.
Place grape leaves on a solid surface then add about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center just above the stem end. Tuck in the sides over the filling then roll tightly into a cigar shape. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
Layer the grape leaves in an oven dish. Drizzle the rest of the oil, lemon juice and the water on top.
Cover with foil paper and cook in the oven at 180˚C for 40-50 minutes.
Serve with ranch sauce.
